About Shetabkar Company (SKC)
Operating under the commercial brand SKC, Shetabkar Company is the largest manufacturer of steering systems in Iran and a key player in the country’s automotive component sector. The company’s origins trace back to the early 1980s, when it was founded as the Nodular Cast Iron Foundry Company, initially focused on producing cast iron parts. In 1996, it was rebranded as Sapco 4, expanding its portfolio to include rocker arms, tappets, and rocker arm bases.
In response to rising demand within Iran’s automotive industry for strategic and safety-critical components, the company adopted the name Shetabkar and redirected its focus toward the production of advanced parts such as steering assemblies and connecting rods.
As part of its strategy to consolidate and strengthen the domestic automotive supply chain, Farzanegan Fars Nikoo Group acquired 100% ownership of Shetabkar in 2010. Since the acquisition, Shetabkar has undergone extensive upgrades—implementing advanced localization of high-tech components and modernizing its production capabilities in areas such as steering systems, connecting rods, and drive shafts.
The company has invested heavily in CNC automation, specialized machinery, and modern production lines, enabling it to manufacture components and assemblies for over 10 different vehicle models. Shetabkar supplies major domestic OEMs, including Iran Khodro and Saipa, and maintains a strong presence in the aftermarket (AM) due to its proven product durability, quality, and official certifications.
