Following its receipt of an official license to manufacture vehicles from the luxury smart vehicle brand ROX in Iran, Persia Mobility Group (Persia Khodro) has reached the project’s third operational milestone with the arrival of the first shipment of ROX 01 vehicles at its facilities.

The manufacturing license marked the first milestone, followed by the vehicles’ arrival at Iranian customs as the second. The transfer of the first shipment to Persia Khodro’s facilities represents the third stage, demonstrating steady progress in the partnership and bringing the brand closer to its official launch in Iran.

The ROX 01 is a luxury smart SUV with off-road capabilities, featuring advanced extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) technology. Equipped with two electric motors and all-wheel drive (AWD), it delivers 476 hp and 740 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds.

With the first shipment now at Persia Khodro’s facilities, the project has entered a new phase, advancing preparations for the official introduction and market launch of this luxury smart SUV in Iran.
