According to Boniz Automotive Company’s Public Relations Department, a ceremony marking the unveiling and initial handover of 300 fire trucks to municipalities across Iran was held via videoconference on Monday, June 15, with the participation of the President and a number of national and local officials.

This national initiative aims to expand and modernize Iran’s firefighting fleet and enhance its operational capabilities. The vehicles were manufactured by Boniz Automotive Company and equipped by Sangin Kar Sanat Engineering Company.

The ceremony, attended by officials from the Ministry of Interior and the Organization of Municipalities and Rural Administrations, alongside municipal leaders, firefighters and crisis management professionals, marked the official start of the handover of the new vehicles to municipalities across Iran.

The first phase included a symbolic handover to the municipalities of Saveh, Hashtgerd and Qazvin. Under the allocation plan, 30 fire trucks will be prioritized for cities that lost part of their firefighting fleets during recent incidents and exceptional circumstances.

During the ceremony, Dr. Mojabi, Deputy for Management Development and Resources at the Organization of Municipalities and Rural Administrations, attended the unveiling venue and symbolically handed over several fire trucks to municipal representatives and firefighters.

The introduction and deployment of this new fleet represent an important step toward strengthening safety infrastructure, improving crisis management and enhancing emergency response services in cities nationwide. The project also demonstrates the domestic industry’s substantial capacity to design and manufacture specialized emergency and firefighting vehicles, highlighting the contribution of Iranian manufacturers to meeting the country’s strategic needs.

The handover of these 300 fire trucks is one of Iran’s largest firefighting fleet modernization and equipment programs this year. The remaining vehicles will be delivered to municipalities nationwide according to the established schedule.
